To login:
- Open a browser and go to: https://ftpsec.nic.edu/
- Login with your MyNIC credentials
To send files:
- Click on Send Files from the top menu.
- Enter the below information, then click Next.
- Note: you can leave the default settings for everything except the Guest Email Addresses
- Subject
- Comments
- Your full name
- Email address for those user that needs the file(s)
- Choose a date/time for the link to these files to expire
- Set a password if you want to require the person receiving the files to login
- Upload the files you want to send by clicking Browse > Files on my Computer (if you need to send more than 5 files, click the Add more files button). When finished adding files, click Upload >>.
- When the file(s) are uploaded, you will receive a page confirming the files were uploaded and sent. Click Done.
- Once you click done, you will now see your main activity page showing your sent files. You can click on the View All Sent >> to see what you have sent along with the URL provided to the user.
To request files:
- Click one on Request Files from the top menu.
- Enter the following information, then click Send Request.
- Note: you can leave the default settings for everything except the Guest Email Addresses
- Subject
- Comments
- Your full name
- Email addresses of those who want to send files to you
- Chose date/time for the link to upload files to expire
- Set a password if you want to require the person receiving the link to login
- You will receive a confirmation window. Click Done.
- Once you click done, you will now see your main activity page showing the requested files. You can click on the View All Requested >> to see what requests you have sent along with the URL provided to the user for uploads.
