Before you register:
- Review your Progress and add courses to your course plan.
- It is recommended you request a course plan review from your Advisor.
- If your advisor protects a course on your plan, it may not be moved to another semester.
How to Register
- Log into your MyNIC account at https://my.nic.edu/
- Select the Self Service button
- From the Self Service main menu, select Student Planning
- Select Go to Plan & Schedule
- You will now see the Schedule screen
- View Approve/Deny from your advisor:
- Green – course is approved for registration
- Yellow – course is protected and cannot be moved to another term
- Red – course has been denied for registration
- Choose course day and time:
- For approved courses, click on View other sections to choose the date and time of the course you would like to register
- View course options by first hovering over the available options
- Click on the course that best fits your schedule
- Once the course is selected click Add Section to Schedule
Note:
- You have NOT registered yet, please continue to the next step
- There can be several pages of sections, so ensure to review all your options
- You may select/plan multiple sections
- While you can plan for several sections of the same course, you may only register in one
- Complete registration:
- Click Register on each course OR
- Click the Register button in the top right to register for all classes.
- Once you are registered, the course will turn green and provide you with the option to drop
Note:
- While you can plan for several sections of the same course, you may only register in one
- You must meet the pre-requisites or you will not be registered for that course
- If a class is full, and eligible for wait listing, you will be waitlisted for that course
