Push-to-exit buttons allow exit through doorways when paired with access control systems. Pressing a button activates opening of the door. This needs to unlock the door when pressed from inside the building also triggering the door opener.

This is how you wire the button for indoor use with the door access system.

 

Option 2 for connecting BEA handicapp button directly to DS160 Rex device.

This is option 2 on how you wire these for indoor use with a DS160 REX device that already present.

 

 

This is what to expect on the Myon Controller log entry when this is set correctly. Both the Rex device and handicapp button will Request an exit and disable alarm for this.
