VMS is video management software and it plays a key role of the IP camera system. VMS is software that runs on your Windows computer and augments the functionality of going directly to network video recorder (NVR).
- Go to: https://vms.ednetics.com
- Type in your username@nic.edu and click Next.
Note: It is safe to click OK on the message stating, “We use cookies to assist with navigation and to enhance your experience using this product. By clicking “OK” or continuing to use this site you agree to allow cookies to be placed”.
- You will be redirected to NIC’s login page. Type your NIC username and password.

Click Connect next to the recorder you want to open.

You will be able to view live camera coverage.
Additional Information
OpenEye VMS is used by our Testing Centers and for campus and outreach center security. If you need to request access, please have your supervisor submit a ticket by going to www.nic.edu/it and click Submit a Ticket.
