Zoom - Edit Cloud Recording

All Zoom cloud recordings can be managed and accessed through the Zoom Web Portal: https://nic.zoom.us. When editing a Zoom cloud recording, you can edit the start and end time, but you cannot remove a section in the middle of the recording.  This does not change the original recording but will adjust the start and end times when viewed through a shared link.  If the recording is downloaded, the full recording will be available to view. 

  1. Go to https://nic.zoom.us/ and click Recordings on the left side menu. 
    • You can search recordings by meeting ID, topic, or Keyword.  You can also adjust the date range for a shorter period of time.
  2. Click the name of the recording you want to edit.
  3. Click the play icon.

  1. Click the edit icon (scissors).

  1. You should get a warning that this will not affect the original recording but will adjust the start and end times of the recording when viewed through a shared link.  Click Got it. 

  1. Move the bars to adjust the start and end time of the recording and click Save.
