Setup Email Forwarding:
Login to your email account by clicking on the
Cardinal Mail
button in the
MyNIC portal
.
Open
Settings
by clicking on the gear wheel in the top right-hand corner. Towards the bottom of the menu, click once on
View all Outlook settings
.
Click on
Mail
and
Forwarding
.
In the forwarding section:
Click the
Enable forwarding
check box.
Enter the
email address
where you want to forward your NIC Mail.
Make sure to check the
‘Keep a copy of forwarded messages’
box.
Click
Save.
Note:
By default, your email account
does
keep a copy of forwarded messages in your NIC inbox after setup. We recommend that you keep a copy of forwarded messages.
NIC is
not
responsible for email that is blocked from arriving in your personal email account. It is still your responsibility as an employee or student to check your NIC email daily.
Stop Email Forwarding:
Follow steps #1-3 above in the Setup Email Forwarding section.
In the forwarding section:
Uncheck the
Enable forwarding
check box.
Click
Save.
Change Email Forwarding:
Follow setups #1-3 above in the Setup Email Forwarding section.
In the forwarding section:
Click in the
Forward my email to:
box and enter a new email address to forward your NIC Mail.
Click
Save.
