This understanding is between NIC Information Technology and the NIC student for the purpose of connecting an identified device to the residence hall network via Ethernet. By registering the device, the student agrees to connect only allowed devices and to follow NIC acceptable use and conduct policies. The student may not connect routers or devices that provide wireless services to others. This will help prevent interference from unknown wireless access points. NIC provides wireless services; ask your RA for details.
